VAIL — Beginning Tuesday, the municipal building parking lot at 75 South Frontage Road will undergo significant construction to coincide with expansion of Vail Valley Medical Center. The six-week project will accommodate a change in traffic flow and aims to improve safety by aligning the town of Vail and medical center driveway intersections on the South Frontage Road. It will relocate and reduce the grade of the municipal building driveway entrance and lower a portion of the parking lot. There will be no net loss of the existing 54 parking spaces at the municipal building upon completion of the project. …
