EDWARDS — Olympians Carl Lewis and his sister Carol Lewis-Zilli will be in town for two events to help promote the new Best Buddies International program at Battle Mountain High School.The first, free event is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the BMHS track stadium. All Battle Mountain students, along with the valley’s children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) or physical handicaps, are invited to take part. The morning will include walk/runs, games and activities that encourage inclusion and supporting one-on-on friendships.“All kids want the same thing, good friends to trust,” said Jeanne Quagliano, who is organizing the events. …
