Bridge project to shut down US Highway 6 west of Eagle

EAGLE — Motorists who habitually use U.S. Highway 6 as their Eagle-to-Gypsum route will have to change that habit for at least one night next week.Plan AccordinglyOn Tuesday, U.S. Highway 6 over Brush Creek will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. so crews can lift and place girders for bridge construction. The full closure is expected to last until Wednesday at approximately 6 a.m. The closure will begin at the Sylvan Lake Road roundabout and end at Earhart Drive on the west.
