Vail pioneer Christie Hill passes

VAIL — Christie Hill was the first person to live on Bridge Street, and the first to open a ski shop in Vail. Hill died peacefully June 25 at her longtime home at the top of Bridge Street. She was 100.Hill came to Vail as Blanche Hauserman — then married to Vail pioneer Dick Hauserman.
