1Honor those who died while serving in the armed forces— There will be a Memorial Day ceremony today at 3:30 p.m. at Freedom Park in Edwards. The 11th-annual ceremony is being conducted by the Freedom Park Memorial Committee and VFW Post 10721. The program will include local dignitaries, veterans, the choir from Battle Mountain High School and members of Boy Scout troops 222 and 231.
