AVON — When the West Avon Preserve reopens on Wednesday, a new trail entitled Wild West Ridge will open with it.A 2.18-mile path machine constructed by Momentum Trail Concepts last fall, the trail wasn’t able to make its debut before the riding season came to a close, but is one more connector in the 478-acre plot of land on the north side of Avon for hikers and bikers to use in bridging the gap between the town’s Wildridge neighborhood, the Singletree community of Edwards and beyond.
