BEAVER CREEK — With 260 cumulative inches on the season, the mountain may not have hit its average this year. But people celebrating the season on Sunday didn’t much care about that.Those people wanted spring sun to end the season, and while most of the day took place under cloudy skies, the last two hours of Beaver Creek’s closing day were about as classic of a sunny spring day as you could ask for.And all and all, it was a pretty good year, local residents said.“I came for the winters and stayed for the winters,” said local skier Sean Hanagan. …
