Gass named Telluride superintendent

The Telluride R-1 School District Board of Education has announced that they have unanimously selected Michael Gass, who is currently assistant superintendent for the Eagle Valley School District, to be the new Telluride superintendent of schools beginning on July 1, 2015. Mr. Gass was one of 29 applicants for the position and was chosen after interviews with the board and committees comprised of parents, teachers and community members.Gass has been with the Eagle Valley School District since 2012.
