Beaver Creek Ski Patrol tryouts are Saturday

BEAVER CREEK — Beaver Creek Ski Patrol is seeking ambitious expert skiers and telemark skiers to participate in the annual ski test this Saturday, March 28. The team is comprised of experienced skiers who like to help people in an active outdoor work environment, and the ski test provides interested participants with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the role.As a member of Beaver Creek Ski Patrol, individuals gain emergency outdoor care certification, personal development and leadership skills, and training for toboggan handling, high angle rescues, avalanche mitigation and certification for explosives, community outreach and lift evacuations.
