January sales up from 2014 figures

EAGLE COUNTY — The new year started strong for the local real estate industry, especially sales in Beaver Creek.According to the latest date from Land Title Guarantee Co. — which tracks sales by neighborhood in Vail — the 12 January sales in Beaver Creek led all the county’s neighborhoods. Those sales totalled nearly $30 million in sales volume, again, the most of any neighborhood in the county.Overall, dollar volume for January was more than 40 percent higher than January of 2014, while total transactions were 8 percent higher than the same period in 2014.
