GYPSUM — So any one remember the last time Eagle Valley boys lacrosse opened the season 2-0?That would be never.The closest the Devils have ever gotten was the inaugural season of Eagle Valley lacrosse in 2009 when it beat Battle Mountain in the opener at the Eagle County Fairgrounds before turf came to our valley. Eagle Valley the lost to Aspen, dashing any hopes of 2-0 that year.And so, the Devils are 2-0 after bouncing Montrose, 6-1, on Saturday in Gypsum. The Devils went 3-12 last season, so things are looking a lot better in Eagle Valley’s camp this year.One …
