But it is novel here.Eagle Valley’s boys of summer/spring/sometimes winter got their first swings of the season during a 13-3 thumping of Basalt at Nolan Field in Gypsum. ‘Baseball is game meant to be played outside,” Devils skipper Jesse Meryhew said. “We were getting a little crazy inside the gym.”Hitting off the pitching machine is different than live throwing.
