Spanish ski racer Salarich dominates slalom qualifier

VAIL — Joaquim Salarich needed only to finish today’s slalom qualifier to make it to Beaver Creek Sunday for the FIS World Alpine Ski Championships.The Spanish ski racer decided instead, though, that he was going to give it all he had.
