World Championships: Women’s training delayed to 1:30 p.m.

BEAVER CREEK — The first day of training for the Alpine World Ski Championships on Monday was delayed as course workers moved fresh snow off the Raptor course on Beaver Creek Mountain. Heavy snow fell Monday morning, forcing the scheduled women’s downhill training to be delayed from 10:30 a.m. The training is now set to begin at 1:30 p.m. The races are set to begin tomorrow with the women’s super-G at 11 a.m. …
