AVON — Vail Honeywagon has opened a new recycling center, located on the corner of Nottingham Ranch Road, between Wal-Mart and U.S. Highway 6. The recycling center will function similar to other county recycling sites in that anyone can take paper, commingled items (glass, plastic, aluminum) and flattened cardboard to the designated bins to be recycled free of charge. What sets this site apart from others in Eagle County is that is has a long-term goal to be a centralized recycling hub where community members can bring various hard to recycle materials for a nominal fee. “There are a lot …
