VAIL — Forecasters are calling for a big winter storm to bear down on the Vail Valley from Sunday through Tuesday, bringing snow accumulation of 1-2 feet. Joel Gratz of opensnow.com says moderate to heavy snow should start late Saturday night or Sunday morning. He says another storm is headed to the valley Christmas Day. “Stay tuned for details, and for now, plan on at least Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, as powder days,” he said.
