Voters choose Archibeque for surveyor

EAGLE COUNTY — The second time was the charm for Ted Archibeque. Based on results as of 11 p.m. Tuesday, the Eagle-area Republican won a term as Eagle County surveyor. Eagle County surveyor was an under-the-radar vote this year. The position is part-time and had been held for years by Dan Corcoran, who decided not to seek another term. Archibeque ran against Corcoran in 2012 and announced his intent to seek the job early this year.
