Main Street Mall unveiled to community

AVON — Town staff enjoyed the first of what they expect will be many productive walks down Main Street Mall with members of the community on Tuesday. Main Street Mall is the new, $1.9 million walkway connecting Avon Road to the Avon Recreation Center, a path which was conceived in 2007 as a way to create a “downtown” Avon, and is scheduled to finally celebrate completion with a grand opening ceremony on Dec. 5.
