Flu shots offered in Eagle County

EAGLE — Eagle County Public Health is encouraging all community members to get vaccinated against the flu as soon as possible to protect themselves from seasonal influenza. The vaccine is available from local health care providers, clinics and pharmacies throughout the county and most health insurance plans cover the cost of a flu shot. To locate the nearest flu vaccine, visit www.flushot.healthmap.org. Eagle County Public Health is offering $14 flu shots to uninsured children, as well as to those covered by Medicaid or an insurance that does not cover the cost of flu vaccine. No one will be turned away …
