Avon looks to purchase new Town Hall for $3.2M

AVON — Next Tuesday, the Avon Town Council will begin the public review process for the purchase of what is commonly called “The Skier Building” for a new Town Hall. Located at 140 West Beaver Creek Boulevard, the prominent stone and stucco three-story structure sits on Avon’s Pedestrian Mall. Town Manager Virginia Egger has signed a purchase and sale agreement in the amount of $3.2 million for the property, subject to Town Council approval.
