Vail hires wildland program administrator

VAIL — Vail Fire Chief Mark Miller has announced the hiring of Paul Cada to fill the newly created position of wildland program administrator. Cada will be overseeing the operations of the wildland fire crew as well as assisting community members with wildland fire mitigation activities. Cada comes to Vail from the Colorado State Forest Service where he spent the past eight years as an assistant district forester for the Granby district covering Grand, Summit and Eagle counties.
