AVON — A local man tackled a suspect fleeing from police and “subdued” him until police could arrive. David Martinez, 26, was spotted by police in an Avon hotel, the third time in two weeks he had fled from police on foot. When he saw police approaching him, Martinez bolted from the hotel and ran through the Windham construction property, with Avon Police Officer Tyler Churches running after him.
