GYPSUM — Eagle Valley turned in a vintage performance — a little passing, a lot of running and not many mistakes as the Devils rolled to a 35-13 win over Battle Mountain. And yet … Battle Mountain won the opening toss, but that’s not all it won. The Huskies comported themselves admirably, stringing together a couple of long drives and strengthening their defense. But in the end, there was too much Eagle Valley. The Devils run a four-pack of running backs — Riley Rowles, Buck Ortiz, Cristian Aguilar and Luis Chavez — and they all rolled.
