VAIL — Six people were hurt, three critically, in a multi-car crash in the construction zone on Interstate 70 near the East Vail exit Tuesday night. At about 10 p.m., Vail Police, Vail Fire Department and Eagle County Paramedic Services responded to the crash, which involved four vehicles, including a contract vehicle for the Colorado Department of Transportation. The collision occurred in a construction zone approaching a lane closure.
