EAGLE — The Vail Valley has long been home to the Vail Lacrosse Shootout, a tradition that helps make the local Independence Day celebration both unique and perennially popular. That tradition is also helping to fuel an increasingly popular youth lacrosse program, with interest and participation from one end of the valley to the other. This summer, that program expands to include a new camp centered in Eagle and operated by former Division III All North Coast Athletic Conference player and NCAA coach Boomer Devlin.
