VAIL — A routine mail check resulted in a hole in the side of the Vail Post Office after a vehicle crashed through the front windows on July 9. According to reports from the Vail Police Department, an 52-year-old man who was stopping to check his mail accidentally drove his truck through the building around 8 p.m. that day. The man told police that he had parked on the east side of the post office near the main doors.
