VAIL — Eagle-Vail’s golden girl, Mikaela Shiffrin, may soon have some additional hardware to commemorate her Olympic and World Cup exploits of the past winter as the 19-year-old U.S. Ski Team star has been nominated for two ESPY Awards. Presented by ESPN, the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards annually honor the world’s top professional and amateur athletes for their accomplishments during that season or year.
