High Fives Foundation sets fundraising record, brings in $50,000 with golf tourney

COPPER — The weather shifted from drizzling to dazzling during the High Fives Foundation Colorado Charity Golf Tournament on Aug. 30, and the nonprofit raised $50,000 — an all-time record for High Fives golf tournaments.Money raised goes toward the organization’s support of mountain action sports athletes by raising injury prevention awareness and resources to those who suffer life-altering injuries.“This year’s event was phenomenal because the people of Colorado take care of their own,” said Roy Tuscany, executive director of the High Fives Foundation. “Everyone was here to raise money so that something like an injury won’t stop our athletes from …
