Local 4×4 enthusiasts go Crawlin’ to a Cure, Aug. 13

EAGLE — The worlds of pink ribbons and muddy tires will collide Saturday night at the Eagle County Fairgrounds for the sixth annual Crawlin’ to a Cure event.At the end of the evening, winners will include a group of fast-shifting 4X4 drivers and a number of local families facing the challenges that cancer brings to their everyday lives. There will be lots of laughs shared, but the 2016 event is also bittersweet. Tiffany Myers, the local woman who inspired the event’s creation, lost her nine-year battle against breast cancer in February.“It’s very hard this year,” said event organizer Vikki Hobbs. …
