VAIL — The Town of Vail recently announced the hiring of Ernest Saeger to fill the position of special events coordinator. Saeger will be responsible for coordinating overall town operations for special events including development and implementation of event permitting processes and will be the liaison for event promoters.An avid mountain biker and outdoor recreation enthusiast, Saeger has worked on events including the PGA Tour, GoPro Mountain Games and the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships.
