Highway 131 closed on Monday at Bond

EAGLE COUNTY — Crews from the Union Pacific Railroad will be replacing rail through the crossing on State Highway 131 at mile point 16.25 through Bond on Monday. The only day of a full closure will be Monday. Preliminary work begins Sunday, with flaggers ushering motorists through the work zone. Flaggers will be in place again on Tuesday. Delays possibleHours of operation are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day but the railroad will reopen the highway earlier Monday if the work is completed.
