Highway 131 closed Monday at Bond

EAGLE COUNTY — Crews from the Union Pacific Railroad will be replacing rail through the crossing on State Highway 131 at mile point 16.25 through Bond July 25. The only day of a full closure will be July 25. Preliminary work begins July 24, with flaggers ushering motorists through the work zone. Flaggers will be in place again on July 26. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day but the railroad will reopen the highway earlier July 25 if the work is completed. On July 24 and July 26, motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays …
