Trip brings reflection on Red Ribbon Project

In April I took my eldest son to visit colleges on the East Coast. Displayed in the library at Middlebury College was a section of the AIDS quilt. The AIDS quilt has 48,000 panels memorializing those that have died from AIDS. The last time the quilt was displayed in its entirely was in 1996, where the memorial quilt covered the entire national mall in Washington D.C. We went to see the quilt display.
