Sole Power challenge resumes

VAIL — May snow and rain showers bring June flowers and Sole Power. Memorial Day is here and that means time for the annual Sole Power Challenge. Sole Power turns six this season. The first five years of Sole Power have resulted in some impressive numbers: 597 people have logged 22,140 trips or 145,903 miles (with more than 140,000 pounds of carbon reduced). The Sole Power Challenge encourages human powered commuting in the Eagle Valley. Participants get outside, get fit, reduce their carbon footprint, save money and have fun while doing it.
