Summer baseball league seeking host families

EAGLE COUNTY — College baseball players from across the country will descend on the Rocky Mountains in early June, and many of them are looking for a host family for six weeks.The Mountain West Summer League returns for its second year with teams in Vail, Eagle Valley, Summit County, Steamboat Springs, Grand Junction and Glenwood-Carbondale.“If there’s any families that would like to host a college baseball player for five and a half, six weeks, that’d be great,” said Joe LeFebre, league commissioner, “especially if they are families with baseball players.”In the league’s first season, baseball players from 30 different states …
