WOLCOTT — A McCoy man was killed in a predawn hit and run, and police are looking for the driver of the vehicle that they believe hit him. Thomas Landauer, 76, died around 4 a.m. Thursday when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the area, said Josh Lewis, Colorado State Patrol public information officer. The Colorado State Patrol was called at 4:45 a.m. to the scene five miles north of Wolcott on Highway 131. Initial investigations indicate Landauer was outside his truck, a 2001 Toyota, and on the roadway when he was struck and killed. The vehicle …
