New faces join WECMRD board

EDWARDS — Nine candidates ran for four Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District board of directors seats during the polling place election across the county Tuesday.Mikayla Curtis (93 votes), Christopher Pryor (83) and Elizabeth Jones (82) earned four-year terms, and Michael McCormack (90 votes) won the two-year term, based on unofficial results.John McCaulley (68 votes) was appointed to a seat in 2015 but did not earn enough votes for election.
