$50K Powerball winner comes out of City Market in Vail

VAIL — The three winning tickets for the $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot were not in Colorado, but one ticket sold at City Market in Vail gave someone a $50,000 payday.Vail’s City Market itself will receive a $2,000 commission bonus for selling the ticket.Lines have been long at retailers around the county recently as those in the high country tested their luck. The winning Powerball tickets, though, were in Chino Hills, California; Munford, Tennessee; and Melbourne Beach, Florida.Across Colorado, more than a dozen Powerball players cashed in by getting four out of the five numbers.
