VAIL — The Vail Police Department, in conjunction with the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab, will be hosting a new session of the Community Awareness Program from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. This free community training is the same course as earlier sessions held last year in preparation for the Alpine World Ski Championships.The Thursday training will take place in The Grandview on the third level of the Lionshead Welcome Center, where parking is free upon entry after 3 p.m. Employees, business owners and other members of the community are encouraged to attend.
