Vail short-term rental rules changing

VAIL — Since July 1, owners of short-term rental properties in Vail have been required to post their town of Vail sales tax account number in all advertisements of those rentals. Beginning Jan. 1, all short-term rental properties in Vail renting more than 14 days per year will be required to obtain an annual business license from the town regardless of the location of the business management office.
