Walking Mountains free School’s Out Camp in February includes avalanche education

It is that time of year when the snow starts flying and our minds shift to powder days and playing in our winter playground. Walking Mountains Science Center is partnering with Chris Anthony’s Youth Project Initiative through his The Glide Project Fund to provide a full day of snow science and avalanche awareness to fifth- through eighth-grade students during the Eagle County Schools’ winter break on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
