Police say man tried to abandon stolen vehicle near Dotsero

DOTSERO — A Minnesota man who was allegedly trying to abandon a stolen pickup truck was spotted by Eagle County sheriff’s deputies walking away from the vehicle, allegedly dragging a suitcase full of stolen items behind him.Donald James Miller, 26, of White Bear Lake, Minn., has already been charged in Minnesota with six felonies in the last two years, three for arson, and one as recently as Jan. 28.Miller was rolling through Eagle County in a stolen Dodge pickup truck he’s accused of stealing from a gas station in Jefferson County.He ran out of gas near Dotsero and sheriff’s deputies …
