Vail, Mexican city open cultural exchange

VAIL — Erwit Reichert thinks his home town and Vail can learn a lot from each other. The next year will see how much learning can be done.Vail Mayor Andy Daly Friday joined Mauricio Trejo, mayor of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico in signing a one-year sister city agreement. That agreement, which all parties want to extend past that first 12 months, will focus on cultural, culinary and educational exchanges between the two cities.
