Avon’s West Beaver Creek Blvd. gets bike lanes

AVON — The Town of Avon has restriped parts of West Beaver Creek Boulevard between Avon Road and Lake Street. The restriping on the road in front of the Avon Post Office and 1st Bank creates a new configuration by removing the turn lanes from Sun Road and Lake Street and replacing them with dedicated bicycle lanes. “Sharrows” — bike symbols — have been marked along the bicycle lanes.
