EAGLE COUNTY — A rockslide this morning has closed Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.The slide is just west of the Hanging Lake tunnels in the eastbound lanes at about mile marker 125, a common spot for rockfall.A CDOT geotech crew is en route to assess the situation, requiring the agency to close the interstate in both directions between Glenwood Springs and Dotsero.“There’s still some movement on the slope,” Trulove said.The closure, which began at 8:22 a.m., is expected to last three hours or more, regional CDOT spokeswoman Tracy Trulove said.
