Armed robber sought by Avon police

AVON — A lone gunman robbed a pizza store and fled with a small of cash during the early morning hours Tuesday.The man walked into the Domino’s pizza store around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, and threatened two employees with a gun. The two were the only ones in the place, and were closing up, Avon police said.Brandishing his pistol, the man demanded money. The two employees gave him money from the store’s lockbox, as well as their personal property, and he left the store, police said.The robber is described as a male of unknown ethnic origin, 20 to 30 years of …
