Vail Mountain Rescue missions in January, February and March

EAGLE COUNTY — Below are summaries of the most significant of the missions that Vail Mountain Rescue Group responded to during the months of January, February and March:• On Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m. , a skier from Vail Mountain was reported lost in the Lime Creek drainage. Five snowmobilers were dispatched and found the skier none-the-worse for the experience. • On Jan. 11 at 8:55 p.m. , an ice climber reported that her partner had fallen from the Fang, an East Vail ice climb, and was seriously injured.
