B’nai Vail to hold ‘Days of Remembrance’ service

VAIL — The B’nai Vail Congregation Sabbath service and ceremony Remembering Victims of the Holocaust and Nazi Persecution on Friday will feature a large display of European remnants of the Holocaust and concentration camps, including ancient scrolls and a Torah. Peter Vavra will play Yiddish music on the accordion from 5 to 6 p.m. during the display viewing time in the lower level of the Vail Interfaith Chapel. The service commemorating “The Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust” will begin at 6 p.m. with the lighting of six memorial candles in recognition of the 6 million Jews …
