‘Educational facility’ proposed 6 miles up Lake Creek Road

EAGLE COUNTY — The Eagle County Planning Commission will hold a hearing today for a proposed “educational facility” more than 6 miles up Lake Creek Road. The hearing is set for 3 p.m. at the county administration building in Eagle.Applicants Kathy and Peter Halstead have proposed building a facility on their 18.9-acre property on Holy Cross Drive. That’s a bit more than 6 miles south of U.S. Highway 6 up Lake Creek Road. According to county documents, the Halsteads are proposing:• A 10,000-square-foot facility for a digital library and recording facility that can host small performances for 50 to 75 …
