Vail Mountain School students present the comedy ‘Charley’s Aunt’

VAIL — It’s no coincidence that “guys” and “lies” rhyme, something you’ll realize when you watch Vail Mountain School (VMS) actors chase romance in the school’s next production. “Charley’s Aunt” is a farce in three acts written by Brandon Thomas. It’s about how lies beget more lies, and how they take on a life of their own. This one is presented by 7th and 8th graders from the VMS theater department. The play was first performed at the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds in February 1892, in Oxford, England. It broke all historic records for plays of any kind, with …
